This is some text inside of a div block.
We are excited to confirm that the WENP conference is completely sold out, and more exciting speakers have been added to the programme. There's also an update on the West of England Local Nature Recovery Strategy.

WENP Conference: sold out and updated programme

The WENP Conference on07 November has now officially reached capacity. We look forward to seeing all of you there who have got tickets!

Apologies to anyone who missed out. If you have a ticket, but are no longer able to attend, please return your ticket via Eventbrite so it can begiven to someone on the waiting list.

We are also delighted to reveal an updated programme for the conference with more exciting speakers confirmed, including Natural England Chair Tony Juniper CBE. It will be a celebration of our Local Nature Recovery Strategy, the first to be published in England, and a deep dive into the ambitions of our nature recovery programmes.

WENP's new look

You might notice a new look to this edition of the WENP Updates... We are delighted to reveal new WENP branding, which will be accompanied by a new, much improved, website in October. We have been working with Bristol-based agency Oku Design, and we love the work they've done to update our image but retain the partnership's identity - we hope you do too.

Local Nature Recovery Strategy update

The Local Nature Recovery Strategy for the Mayoral Combined Authority and North Somerset, which is being termed the ‘Local Nature Recovery Toolkit’ (LNRT), has reached the final stage of approval following the public consultation held earlier this year. The LNRT has been updated with the results of the consultation, and is planned to be launched at the WENP Conference.

The final version of the LNRT will include an interactive application through which users can understand the most relevant actions they can take for nature recovery where they are, as well as providing links to relevant guidance and funding.

You can view the responses to the consultation and the analysis of these responses on the Combined Authority’s LNRS Webpage.
